The Lenovo IdeaPad Y710 notebook is 17 inch and has Intel's 45 nanometer Core 2 Duo processing technology which is codenamed 'Penryn'.  The Lenovo IdeaPad Y710 features the ATI Mobility Radeon HD2600 256MB video card, up to 500GB 5400rpm of hard drive storage with a secondary HDD, 2GB of system memory expandable to 4GB, and a DVD burner or a Blu-Ray optical drive. The laptop has Dolby Home theatre sound system with 4 speakers and a sub woofer as well as a 1.3 megapixel web camera with face recognition function which has a specila software called Veriface.
