The Canon PowerShot S3 IS is a compact 6.0 megapixel camera with a super long 12x optical zoom and a UD lens. It helps you bringing you close to the object to focus even the minute details.It has the DIGIC II Image Processor and iSAPS Technology for superior image quality and also the moviesnap feature that helps in taking still images when you are shooting a movie. The movie button helps in shooting continous movies without switching modes and it has advanced features like optical zooming when you are shooting a movie and also stereo sound. Canon's DIGIC II Image Processor is designed to improve processing speed and image quality, so DIGIC II provides markedly faster startup, autofocus and playback, plus it assures that every image is more colorfully vibrant. iSAPS Technology is an entirely original scene-recognition technology developed for digital cameras by Canon.
