It packs up mobile phone, Im, email, messaging, web all packed into this simple device with 320x240 pixel Transflective colour screen, supports 16-bit colour (up to 65K colours). The compact form factor is now available in two colours: glacier white and charcoal grey.
The tri band GSM smartphone has loads of features like the Microsoft Direct Push technology for Outlook email, automatic download of emails, the full featured internet browser, accessing google maps and ebay. The smartphone handles features like word, excel and powerpoint. Bluetooth stereo support is also included but no EDGE support. From October The Palm Treo 500v will be available through Vodaphone in customers in Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, South Africa (Vodacom), and the UK and no information about pricing yet.
